Poker Players

Poker players are extremely nice people as a rule. Each of them want to win money. And some days they do win. And some days they lose. They come from various different parts of the usa and around the globe. Male or female, young and old. Most of them play for many different reasons. To have fun, kill time, curl up and more.

Most players really don't get better, from the time they first start playing until they die. Exactly why is that, because as they play, they hear new things all the time. And so they think they know, however they don't take the time to really study them. And really understand what they mean. AA's would be the best starting hand in Texas. Poker players use a combination of skills when playing poker. Just knowing a few of the skill levels is understanding all of them is the way to play. Because a few of the skills are far more important than others. Pro's or hustlers know how to apply them at different levels.

Most books on playing poker are good. A couple of are excellent. But as far as I am concerned, they do not explain everything, in the right way. You read the book, some of it goes above your head, some goes betwixt your ears and does not stay. The best example, one of the best book's written, I ask people when I am playing about one of many chapters. They state they read it. I quickly ask them about one single item, like on the best way to bluff in no-limit. They read it. but don't understand.
