Opposition says gm trial risks trade union collapse

Cambell said it is clear the Government should consider the long-term future of the GMC and the union.

GMO Commissioner Bill Davis said he is not familiar with any concerns raised by those unions.

A report commissioned by the Government said the GMC needs an "aggressive review" of its management structure if the Government is to make sure GMC jobs stay here.

This report suggested it could take three years to carry out such a review, while also noting the Government would be in a strong negotiating position if the process is allowed to take longer.

GMO Minister Barnaby Joyce has already rejected the GMC's proposal for 바카라 a review in consultation with unions.

Mr Davis says this is a reasonable proposal that the Government will examine.
