Historic Inn and Tavern

For over 200 years guests Have enjoyed the hospitality offered at the historical Altland House Inn and tavern located in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Originally constructed in 1790, the inn was bought by Robert Altland in 1880, also stands in the same place now. Adding a third narrative and what's currently its present facade finished in 1911 by then owner Ruben Altland, the inn and tavern continued to flourish. Fast forward to 1954; no more made of logs but amazing with a refurbished splendor for all to delight in the Altland House was leased at this time by a former waitress, Betty Haugh and her husband Tom later bought by the Haugh family in 1972.
