Historic Inn and Tavern
For over 200 years guests Have appreciated the hospitality given at the historic Altland House Inn and tavern situated in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Originally built in 1790, the inn was purchased by Robert Altland at 1880, and stands at the same place now. Adding a third narrative and what's currently its current facade completed in 1911 by then owner Ruben Altland, the inn and tavern continued to prosper. Fast forward to 1954; no more made from logs but amazing with a refurbished splendor for all to enjoy the Altland House was leased at this time with a former waitress, Betty Haugh along with her husband Tom later bought by the Haugh family in 1972.
