Man accused of police shooting dies

The incident occurred in the 10300 block of South Madison Street at approximately 2:28 p.m. Monday when officers spotted a man matching the description of the man seen leaving the McDonald's parking lot, according to an arrest affidavit.

The officer approached the man and 바카라 gave him a warning, according to the affidavit. The man replied with "F****** Jesus" in Arabic, 바카라 the affidavit said.

The officer followed the man in a red Ford Explorer and got out of the vehicle.

"After running my lights through the lighted portion of the vehicle, they said, 'You're not driving any kind of car,'" said police spokeswoman Sarah Simpich-O'Hara.

The man told officers he did not know the officer and took off on foot, the arrest affidavit said.

The man then crashed into a home and was rushed to the hospital, but was released from the hospital on Monday night and is now in the hands of police.

Simpich-O'Hara said the man's family did not want to provide a name to reporters.
