Originally built in 1790, the inn was bought by Robert Altland at 1880, and stands at the same location now. Including a third narrative and what is now its current facade completed in 1911 by then owner Ruben Altland, the inn and tavern continued to prosper. Fast forward to 1954; no more made from logs but amazing with a refurbished splendor for all to enjoy the Altland House was leased now by a former waitress, Betty Haugh along with her husband Tom later purchased by the Haugh household in 1972.
