Historic Inn and Tavern

For over 200 years guests Have enjoyed the hospitality offered at the historical Altland House Inn and tavern situated in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Originally built in 1790, the inn was bought by Robert Altland at 1880, and stands at the same location now. Including a third narrative and what is now its current facade completed in 1911 by then owner Ruben Altland, the inn and tavern continued to prosper. Fast forward to 1954; no more made from logs but amazing with a refurbished splendor for all to enjoy the Altland House was leased now by a former waitress, Betty Haugh along with her husband Tom later purchased by the Haugh household in 1972.
