Full Tilt Versus PokerStars

Having played internet poker for almost annually I've had a possibility to compare both the largest on-line poker sites. Both poker sites offer lots of options for MTT (multi-table tournament) poker players. I like both sites. There are a number of small advantages that I see with Full Tilt:

1. Hand Replayer - The software on Full Tilt for replaying past hands is far superior on Full Tilt. It is MUCH faster than PokerStars. For some reason on PokerStars you need to click through each card being dealt then antes, etc. It is very cumbersome and consumes time when attemping to research an online poker hand and take notes in your opponents.

2. $2-$3 Tournaments: Sometimes you only seem like playing a small field (75-300 players) $2-$3 MTT to obtain some practice or create your bankroll while minimizing your risk. These are no problem finding on Full Tilt but you are nonexistent on PokerStars. I guess it is possible to just always play a SNG tournament of an similar size on PokerStars so this is not really a critical issue.

3. Sizing Tables: On Full Tilt Poker I am able to make a table take up my entire monitor if I desire. This is great if you're not multi-tabling. I know it is tough to believe, however, not everybody multi-tables constantly. On PokerStars the tables use a fixed width and so are can not complete my entire widescreen computer monitor.

The last two backpacks are not probably not major issues for most poker online players, but I really do believe that the higher software for replaying previous hands can be a major issue for some. I use both sites and may continue to do so. Full Tilt and PokerStars are respected within the poker online industry as evidenced through the huge variety of players playing on each site. Elite poker professionals have associated themselves with each site to lend even more credibility. Both sites give a full selection of game selection and many types of the various varieties of poker can be purchased at each imaginable buy-in level.

It is a wise decision to play free of charge if you're not used to poker. In no-limit hold'em it is easy to lose lots of money quickly through either inexperience of the run of bad luck.
