Millions of people are playing poker. With the advent of the internet, poker became more accessible as more sites offer internet poker tables to poker enthusiasts. Each person plays poker for several reasons. Many play for that simple love of the sport while other play to the monetary gain that they may get.

I are actually an online poker player for more than a year now and I can say that for your past years, I have really enjoyed playing poker, particularly Texas Holdem. I got hooked into the action when my college roommate started playing poker and that he started making a high income though it was online. I got interested and started playing myself. People always believe that they want luck to win poker.

Of course, other than the rigorous demand of poker for skills, there are other explanations why I love playing poker. Here are the main five explanations why I do:

1. Playing poker is profitable. Instead of playing up against the casino in other online games (which oftentimes give them better edge), you are messing around with actual persons and actual players whose skills can match yours or otherwise not. I used to start playing online poker and I am still doing the work but anytime you can, I try to experience on real casinos to make a better feel of the poker is basically exactly about.

2. When playing poker, you get better while you play more. Poker isn't like other sports where your actual age limits your skill to try out like football or soccer. With poker, age is not important. As long when you play daily, it is possible to acquire more skills and so, improve.
